I bought this so I could begin grooming my dogs at home. It wasn't the cost of grooming so much as the awful depression my dogs seem to go through when I would have them done.There are cheaper tables available but you get what you pay for. This table is very stable, no wobbling. I am 6" 4" and find the height of this table to be fine for working on my dog. I also weigh 200 pounds and have no problem leaning against it or on it. I think if I backed up and rested my behind on it that it would hold my weight. It is very easy to set up and take down for storage out of the way. It is good enough for a full time groomer to use and would stand up to the use of everyday grooming. Don't try to save a few bucks by going cheaper as I think you will regret it in the end.
